Krept & Konan Return With New Single ‘Smooth Lovin’ ft. Popcaan

Krept & Konan have returned with ‘Smooth Lovin’ – the first official single from their third studio album, Young Kingz II, set to be released via their independent label, Play Dirty on the 7^th February 2025.

The new single, ‘Smooth Lovin’ features Popcaan, and combines Afrobeat rhythms with Caribbean influences. It has also been accompanied by a music video showcasing Popcaan’s smooth hooks alongside Krept & Konan’s deft storytelling.

This new project marks the duo’s first album since 2019’s Revenge Is Sweet, which secured a Top 5 spot in the UK charts and made history as they became the first British rap act to headline the O2 London. Returning to their roots, Young Kingz II is a direct follow-up to their iconic 2013 mixtape Young Kingz —the release that launched their career and earned them a Guinness World Record as the highest-charting unsigned UK act.

With Young Kingz II, Krept & Konan continue their legacy as British rap icons, promising fans an intimate and powerful project that draws from their roots while showcasing the range and influence that defines their career.
