Rapid-rising UK grime star Tommy B announces his latest release “Come Off It” featuring Frisco – taken from his forthcoming debut album Spiritual Hooligan releasing 27th January.

Following on from drill ridden single “Blessings”, Essex born rapper Tommy B kicks off 2023 with a raw collaboration featuring Boy Better Know veteran Frisco. The track entitled “Come Off It” combines Tommy’s heavy conviction with Frisco’s timelessly gritty sound, together the two have already set this year’s tone for the ever-growing UK sound, displaying clean delivery and seamless cohesion. Tommy B exhibits an effortless rap panache, with some real and relentless lyrics.

Speaking on the track, Tommy B states: “Come Off It” is a song I wrote that pokes fun at some of the rappers that I believe are carrying a persona that doesn’t match who they really are. I used the line “Come Off it” for the hook as it’s something I say in my day-to-day life and it just seemed to perfectly match the subject.

I shouted Frisco to do a verse and it’s an honour to have him on the track, especially as someone I grew up listening to. He came through and hit all the pockets in the production and absolutely killed it. iLLBLU produced this song and they seamlessly merged Grime & Drill to create the perfect stage for this track.”

Tommy B’s career has gone from strength to strength, 2019 saw him win Pirate Studio Prodigy, placing him on the radar of JME, Wiley, Jammer and Sir Spyro. Now lavishing in the fruits of his success, the young artist continues to stay humble and hunger for more. Since crashing onto the UK soundscape across the radio circuit in 2015, Tommy has built an outstanding portfolio in his short career. Supporting Devlin on tour in 2019 led him to star in the infamous Lord Of The Mics – placing Tommy in the same bracket as Grime royalty ahead of his first project The New Dimension.
Features from UK legends Devlin and President T added an undeniable force that helped the project amass over 1M streams.

“Come Off It” gives a further insight into what fans can expect from Tommy B’s highly awaited debut album Spiritual Hooligan, setting the tone for another standout year, the talented musician has already marked a unique stamp on the next generation of listeners.
