Stormzy shuts down Glastonbury. With game-changing performance.

On Friday Uk rap star Stormzy had the amazing opportunity to headline at one of the most iconic festivals ever Glastonbury, and he absolutely shut it down. Leaving artists, fans, and politicians praising the Grime mc after he became the first ever black solo artist to headline at the festival.

Stormzys whos real name is Michael Omari showed his love and respect for the Uk music scene by sharing this once in a lifetime opportunity with fellow Uk rap MC’s Fredo and Dave who performed their smash hit collaboration Funky Friday which reached number one on Apple music UK charts. And having cold play vocalist Chris Martin assist him in performing a duet of Blinded by your grace part 1.

Stormzy also dedicated a segment of his performance to paying homage to those who he felt helped open the doors for him as an artist and shouted out artists such, Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, and Skepta. He also went on to shout numerous other Uk artists who are on the come up leaving Twitter with a frenzy of applause and gratitude.

The 25-year-old also used this massive platform to voice his opinion on Politician Borris Johnson. After he had his audience of 100’000 fans chant “F*** Borris” whilst he performed his latest hit record Vossi Bop.

This performance was not only a life-changing experience for Stormy but has changed the game for everyone coming up from the Uk as he proved to festival and event organizations that the UK has some serious talent that is not to be slept on.
