Saint Harison, a rising star in the world of R&B and Neo-Soul, has released his debut EP, ‘lost a friend’, via Tell Your Friends. His impressive vocal range and falsetto, coupled with personal, introspective lyricism shine through on his first release and demonstrate why he is so highly thought of within his field.

Harison has seen a rapid rise in the last year, thanks to his single ‘Why Didn’t you call???’, as well as his collaboration with Grammy nominee Tiana Major9. This in turn has earned the artist co-signs from some of the biggest names in his field, including the likes of SZA and Justin Bieber. His seven track EP shows the ability of Harison not only as an elite vocalist, but also tapping into personal topics and stories within his relatable lyricism.

Speaking on his project, the artist said:

“Releasing ‘lost a friend’ feels like a weird dream. I remember being a teenager and writing my own music imagining what it would be like to one day release a project – at that age I never cared what people would think of it. I still had the privilege of that mindset whilst writing it as I started it back in early 2021 with not much of a following nor any anticipation. I don’t know if I’ll ever feel like that again which makes this project a very special one to me.”

Having just been announced as Apple Music’s pick for their UpNext artist, it seems that Saint Harrison is about to embark on a stellar career thanks to his clear songwriting ability. As R&B in this country is finally getting the spotlight it deserves, there is no reason why Harison can’t be at the forefront of the genre for many years to come.
