Rapper Cadet has died in a car accident while on the way to a show

The south London musician who travelling in a taxi when the fatal collision took place.
Tributes have been paid by the family of Cadet – real name Blaine Cameron Johnson – on Instagram.
The statement said:
“We the family of Blaine Cameron Johnson known as Cadet (Underrated Legend) would like to share the sad news that during the early hours of February 9 2019 he passed away as a passenger in a taxi, en route to a performance.
“Right now we the family appreciate your patience and will share with you any information as and when we can. Thanks for your support in advance.

Tributes to the UK star, who hailed from South London, have flooded social media.
Cadet teamed up with Deno for their hit song ‘Advice‘, as well as a strong feature of recent track ‘Pumpy’. Cadet was known for his challenges that he would do on Instagram and Twitter that would go viral. The song that got Cadet noticed and got him known for his story telling ability is ‘Slut’.
Cadet landed his first top 40 with ‘Advice‘ featuring Deno which stayed in the top 40 for 13 weeks.
Cadet began rapping as a teenager but he rose to fame in recent years with his big tracks such as “Letter To Krept” and “Uber Everywhere Freestyle”.
There is no question that Cadet earned the title “King of Storytelling”. The most fruitful period for him was during his collaboration with Rapman where he acted in both Shiro’s Story part 2 & 3 which opened up many doors.
