Pozer Named In BBC Sound Of 2025 Longlist

One of the biggest breakout artists in UK Rap this year, Pozer has been named in the longlist of the BBC’s prestigious ‘Sound of’ 2025. After shining on Mixtape Madness’s very own ‘Next Up?’ series earlier this year, he joins the likes of Stormzy, Pa Salieu, and Central Cee who have all previously been nominated for the award.

Selected by a panel of industry experts, Pozer is up against Pop superstar Chappell Roan, singer-songwriter Myles Smith, and Mercury Prize winning Jazz group Ezra Collective amongst others. US Hip Hop newcomer Doechii also finds her place on the longlist.

Having been co-signed by Stormzy and AJ Tracey as well as having two singles chart simultaneously, there is no doubting this artist’s potential to rise to the top. Pozer is certainly an elite talent that has the ability to expand the genre of UK Rap to a global audience.
