Peaky Blinders Season 6 Release Date Revealed

Peaky Blinders is due to return on February 27th for its sixth and final season after a long 3 year wait.

Cillian Murphy who plays the much love Brtitish gangster Tommy Shelby will be joined by old favourites Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne and The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy as Gina Gray.

The Shelby family will go up against fascist politician Sir Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) once more.

Director Anthony Byrne raved to The Sunday Times: ”We’ve nailed it. It’s the perfect ending. It’s very big, and lands in the great endings of long-running TV shows.

“Peaky is talked about within the conversation of other great shows and when I watched the rough cut I knew, personally, we nailed it.”

Filming of the period crime drama began in January 2021, after it initially had to be postponed due to Covid-19.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 will air on BBC One.
