Metallic Fund Partners with NOCTA to launch Creative Summer School
22 Aug 2024
This summer, Metallic Fund is excited to partner with NOCTA to amplify the power of London’s young creative community. For 3 weeks, between August 23 and September 7, ‘COMMUNITY CHAMPS’ offers a summer programme of hands-on education, led by local heroes of London’s creative community.
To foster a strong sense of creative purpose for aspiring inner-city creatives, ‘COMMUNITY CHAMPS’ offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from some of the world’s best minds in their chosen fields. Students will be given the chance to attend programmes in one of three disciplines: Fashion, Art and Photography/Film.
Held in the Metallic Fund studio in East London, the summer programme consists of a series of 2-day masterclasses, held over 3 weeks. Week 1 will focus on product design, research and development, week 2 will focus on art and painting whilst week 3 will focus on film and photography as a visual language.
Classes are held between 10 am-5 pm and consist of 2x 2-hour sessions; the first focuses on theory, followed by a hands-on practical session. Spaces are limited to 30 students per class – creatives aged 18-25 can register now here.
