Lil Nas X Releasing £738 “Satan Shoes” made with human blood

Lil Nas X has partnered with creative label MSCHF to offer 666 pairs of a limited-edition Nike Air Max 97 made with human blood and dubbed the “Satan Shoe”.

Available for one day only the limited-edition shoes see the iconic AM97 redesigned with a satanic styling, featuring a pentagram in bronze with engraving that says, “I SAW SATAN,” “MSCHF” and “LIL NAS X”. Also noticeable on the shoe are the words “Luke 10:18” a reference to the verse: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven,” which is also part of a theme in Lil Nas X’s recent music video.

The shoes which will cost more than $1,000 (£738) a pair contain “60CC ink and 1 drop human blood” and go on sale March 29th.

MSCHF also designed the “Jesus Shoe” -back in 2019 – which was similarly filled a liquid in the air unit, that time holy water instead of human blood. Their Christian rendition also featured Jesus on a crucifix.
