Kwengface Taps SL For New Track ‘For One’

In anticipation of the release of his new project, ‘The Memoir’, Kwengface has linked up with SL on his new single ‘For One’. The Peckham rapper has drafted in his south London compatriot to create a laid back heater with a melodic instrumental, produced by Nyge.

Kwengface rose to fame as part of the Drill collective Zone 2 but has since made a name for himself as a solo artist. Last year saw Kweng collaborate with Knucks, as well as previously working with the likes of Digga D and Dizzee Rascal. The artist’s collaboration with SL shows that there are no signs of slowing down for Kweng as he aims to become one of the hottest names in Drill. The flows of both artists combine perfectly, and are backed up by a luxurious, poker-themed visual directed by Simon Stolland. This release also comes off the back of ‘Ben10’, the last track from the Peckham rapper that saw him travel to Iceland for the music video.

Kwengface has recently spoken to CORD Socials about his career to date, the impact of ‘No Censor’, and working with Dizzee Rascal. The interview showcases the personality of the artist who looks set to have a stellar year, and demonstrates a man who is not afraid of the limelight, setting himself up for domination in 2023.
