Jack Ma And Other Billionaires Go Missing In China

Jack Ma, the Chinese billionaire and founder of Alibaba and Ant Group, hasn’t been seen publicly in more than two months. Ma skipped out on a appearance on a TV talent show he founded and a different Alibaba executive replaced Ma.

Chinese regulators launched an antitrust investigation into Alibaba and introduced regulations that halted Ant Group’s initial public offering. Ma is said to be laying low, after blasting financial regulators at a Shanghai conference last October.

The CCP don’t take to kindly to criticism as shown earlier in 2020 when Ren Zhiqiang, a retired real-estate tycoon, and Xiao Jianhua, an asset manager, also disappeared after facing criticism from Chinese regulators, the former even received an 18 year sentence.
