R&B Newcomer IMVN Makes Debut With ‘The Door’

North West Londoner, IMVN has shared her debut single ‘The Door’.

A hybrid of R&B and Electronics, IMVNs unique style of writing is the track’s killer moment. Speaking in the perspective of two people, she delves into the issue of incompatibility and the conflicts that can arise.

“The Door is low-key” IMVN explains. “it exudes  a mental state of indifference. It’s spoken from the perspectives of two people, one who doesn’t want responsibilities and lives in the moment; the other,  who’s waiting to be taken seriously and not feel used by others. The Door is a conflict between two incompatible characters who haven’t yet realised it.”

Considering how uneventful Valentine’s had been this year, the track could not have come out at a better time!
