KOKOROKO Release New Single ‘Sweetie’

Following the release of their latest single ‘Sweetie’, London – based septet KOKOROKO has announced their second full length album, Tuff Times Never Last, set to release July 11th, 2025. 

‘Sweetie’, the first single from the album, is a horn-led tune saluting West African disco. Expanding upon the collective’s exploration of electronic sounds, inspiration for the track also came from the group fusing drum machines and synth sounds in the studio, blending two sounds together to create a new one. 

Tuff Times Never Last is a vibrant collection of tracks that encourage resilience and holding on despite the blows that life brings. Learning to embrace dualities, the 11 track project explores community, childhood, loss, and togetherness – all elements of the human experience that KOKOROKO deals with and produces art from.
