Musical royalty Skepta – aka Big Smoke – has jumped on the remix of K-Trap’s certified classic, ‘Warm’ as it enters the Top 40 one year after its release. Down to its timeless, hard-bodied nature and support from the scene both on and offline, ‘Warm’ is finally where it deserves to be and follows the recent success of Trap’s ‘Last Whip II’ tape which went No.12 in the Official album charts last month. ‘Warm’ is the embodiment of day one Trap and it has now been the biggest street anthem for two years in a row with the iconic M1onTheBeat on production duties. With two of the UK’s most influential trailblazers coming together, the ‘Warm’ remix is accompanied by a new video featuring the legendary duo and many special guest appearances.

With ‘Warm’ firmly cementing itself into the hall of fame, it was only right that the Mercury Award-winning Skepta jumped on to add to its untouchable status. Skepta has re-written the rule book on what it means to be an artist with his pioneering career becoming instrumental in shaping the musical landscape, not to forget his recent venture into the art world resulting in him curating an exhibition at the prestigious Sotheby’s. As one of the founding fathers of Boy Better Know and with three top-ten albums under his belt, Skepta’s ability to succeed in all aspects of his life has paved the way for future generations.

K-Trap has been non-stop this year and since the ‘Last Whip II’ came out he has dropped 6 videos, appeared at pop-ups up and down the country and is now due to kick off his 11-date UK tour. Away from the rest of the herd, Trap is a timeless rapper who does things on his own terms and since
going independent has made his proudest and most versatile music to date. His new music is the reincarnation of K-Trap and it’s safe to say the whole world is watching his rise in awe. Said so by the Trap himself, “If you’re a true K-Trap supporter this is gonna be your best K-Trap year”, and he is a man of his word.

K-Trap rose to rap prominence due to his unorthodox flow, bars, finesse and mystery which all remain at the heart of his artistry and sound. Emerging onto the scene in 2017 with ‘David Blaine’, Trap’s consistent stream of releases resulted in co-signs from the likes of Stormzy, Giggs, and Fredo (to name a few) and earned him a permanent spot in the UK music scene’s hall of fame.
