Jorja Smith Asks For A “Kiss Me in the Morning” In Brand New Jazzy Rendition

Jorja Smith has returned with her first solo release of the year, dubbed “Kiss Me in the Morning.”
The track is lifted from Netflix’s upcoming musical-drama “The Eddy”, the track features the soulful songstress comfortably adapting to an uptempo jazz instrumental, while gliding over the busy musical landscape that harkens the sound 1920’s thriving jazz scene, thanks to her retro scat-singing and exceptional timbre.
The series has been overseen by “La La Land” director Damien Chazelle and is centred around the owner of a jazz club in Paris. Who finds himself in a spot of trouble due to criminal involvement. Consequently, the characters winds up fighting for his band, business and his daughter.
The series features a star-studded cast, including André Holland, Joanna Kulig, Amandla Stenberg, Tahar Rahim and Leila Bekhti.
