Jay Prince enlists Estelle and Oddisee for new single, ‘Solitude’

London-born artist Jay Prince announces his highly anticipated album, ‘Shine,’ set to release 16th May, alongside a brand-new single, ‘Solitude,’ featuring Grammy-winning singer Estelle and acclaimed US rapper Oddisee.

‘Shine’ is a deeply personal and uplifting album about recognising the light within, embracing it, and sharing it with the world. At times, self-doubt can cloud our vision, but this project is a journey of self-discovery, growing through life, strengthening faith, and finding one’s true glow.

The 15-track album is a rich, genre-spanning body of work, blending Rap, Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop, Funk, and more. It features an impressive lineup, including Yussef Dayes, Chief Adjuah, Topaz Jones, Ninja Kidsoul, Anaiis, and Elujay. Through themes of family, friendships, love, heartbreak, faith, heritage, and self-discovery, ‘Shine’ aims to uplift, inspire, and empower listeners. ‘Solitude,’ is Jay’s second release of 2025 and one of the standout tracks from the album.
