Ezra Collective Tap Yazmin Lacey For ‘God Gave Me Feet For Dancing’

Mercury Award winners Ezra Collective have collaborated with Yazmin Lacey for their latest single, ‘God Gave Me Feet For Dancing’. The track has been accompanied by a mesmeric music video directed by Tajana Tokyo.

Last year was a coming of age moment for Ezra Collective, becoming the first Jazz act to win the Mercury Prize as well as performing headline slots at the Hammersmith Apollo and Royal Albert Hall. Since then, they have released an Afrobeats infused single, ‘Ajala’, this year, with a new album, ‘Dance, No One’s Watching’, due later in 2024.

Yazmin Lacey brings a smooth vocal performance to this release which complements the musicality of the group. Fans will be hoping another single is on the horizon before the album drops.
