Blakie Drops Explosive “Yeah Man” Ahead of Debut Album

Marking his return after standout roles in Top Boy, Lovers Rock, and Champion, as well as campaigns for Topman and Billionaire Boys Club, Blakie is back with the explosive new single “Yeah Man.” Blending dancehall and bashment vocals with pirate radio grime flows, the track has already racked up over 3 million views on TikTok ahead of release and sets the stage for his highly anticipated debut album, Bare Energy.

Co-signed by the likes of Central Cee, Skepta, D Double E, Novelist and Deema, Blakie is reclaiming his one-to-watch status with a track full of swagger, heritage, and intent. Directed by LAH Media, the comic book-inspired visuals follow Captain Yard Man (Blakie) through London on a heroic grime-fueled journey — complete with a cameo from grime legend Murkle Man (Jammer).

Speaking on the track, Blakie says: “‘Yeah Man’ is about where I’m from and what I’m about — the attitude of a Yard Man, done in a Vybz Kartel-meets-British-humour way. It’s a fan favourite when I perform, so I had to bring it to life properly.”
