Wireless 2022: Youtube Shorts Reimagines Fan Experience
8 Jul 2022
Summary skies paired with the lingering sound of booming speakers, it’s fair to say that Wireless season has officially begun! Whilst previous lineups have been nothing short of spectacular, this year’s event felt a little bit different. Partnering up with Wireless as lead content partner, Youtube Shorts has completely reimagined this year’s Wireless festival experience.
With the second lineup already underway today, what’s better than to reminisce on our magical weekend with the Shorts Stop at Crystal Palace Park.
Offering free t-shirts and paper fans, the Youtube Shorts area was buzzin all weekend. While the chilled vibe of the zone was refreshing, the killer attraction was of course the bespoke booths for Lil Baby, Mahalia and Central Cee. Earlier that week the aforementioned artists had challenged fans to create their best “shorts” to be in with a chance of winning tickets for next year’s event and a meet & greet on-site. Supercharging the fan experience, thousands of people excitedly lined up to Shorts Stop to create their pieces of content all across the weekend.
If that wasn’t fun enough, Wireless attendees were also offered VIP upgrades on the day! Those lucky enough to win the upgrade were now free to mingle with the likes of Potter Payper, Ms Banks, NSG and more A-listers who frequented VIP Youtube Shorts space.
Returning today at both Finsbury Park, and Birmingham, YouTube Shorts is sure to keep the crowd entertained as they wait for performances from the likes of Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Shenseea and more.
