Meekz Delivers Memorable Performance Live At Lafayette

One of the most important artists to come out of the 0161 in recent years, Meekz descended on the King’s Cross location of Lafayette last week. The artist showcased a commanding stage presence and crowd control whilst keeping his audience engaged with a combination of new hits and old classics.

After a lively opening from 2024 newcomer LeoStayTrill, Meekz arrived to a heroes welcome in London, delivering energetic performances of breakout hits including ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ and ‘Like Me’. The artist was able to blend his early work with the rest of his discography, tapping into his ‘Respect The Come Up’ project and the more recent ‘TRU’ mixtape.

Highlights from his latest work came from renditions of ‘Manny’ and ‘Mini Me’s’, as well as ‘GTA VI’. The masked man from Manchester demonstrated why he is so highly thought of in the UK Rap space, boasting an outstanding back catalogue as well as an authoritative, authentic performance style.
